Laptop backpacks for work and travel

Every Dutchsuitcase backpack has its own laptop compartment: for laptops up to 16 inches, and up to 17.3 inches in the DS Explorer. For men and women: as a business backpack or work bag for the office, for school and for travel. The outer fabric is water-repellent and many models have a USB port, an anti-theft pocket or a trolley strap. Travelling with hand luggage only? The expandable DS Explorer (22–38 litres) is a good choice.

Will my laptop fit in these backpacks?

The DS Classic, Elevate, Lite, Pack, Pro and Shield fit a laptop up to 16 inches. The DS Explorer fits a laptop up to 17.3 inches. Not sure? Check the laptop compartment size on the product page.

Can I take a backpack as hand luggage?

The DS Classic, Explorer, Pack, Pro and Shield fall into our hand luggage class. Whether they may be taken as hand luggage on your flight is up to your airline: it depends on the dimensions and on your ticket. The dimensions of each backpack are on the product page. You will find an overview per airline on our page hand luggage sizes per airline; the current rules are always on your airline's website, so check there before you travel.

Are the backpacks waterproof?

No, they are water-repellent. Splashes bead off the outer fabric, but the backpacks are not made to stand in the rain for long or to go under water.

How many litres do I need?

For a working day with a laptop, the DS Pro (approx. 20 litres), DS Classic (21 litres), DS Pack and DS Shield (22 litres) are a good size. Bringing clothes for a few days as well? Choose an expandable model: the DS Elevate (20–27 litres) or the DS Explorer (22–38 litres).

How quickly will my order arrive?

Order an in-stock product on a weekday before 22:00 and it arrives tomorrow; order on Saturday before 16:00 and it arrives on Monday. Products with the Limited Release label take 2 to 8 working days. Each product shows which delivery time applies. Shipping is free on orders of €30 or more.
