Delivery time

  • In-stock products – order on a weekday before 22:00 and it arrives tomorrow; order on Saturday before 16:00 and it arrives on Monday. We do not deliver on Sundays and PostNL public holidays.
  • Limited Release products – delivery time 2 to 8 working days. You can recognise them by the "Limited Release" label next to the product title.

Shipping costs

  • Orders under €30 – €6 shipping costs.
  • Orders from €30 – Free shipping.

Returns

Yes, you can exchange or return an unused item, as long as it is in its original packaging.

You can easily exchange or return items via our returns portal. After approval, you will receive further instructions and – for returns – a shipping label.

For complaints or defects, please email us directly at info@dutchsuitcase.nl.

The return period is 14 days after receipt. After registering your return, you have another 14 days to send the item back.

We ship with PostNL, DHL, or DPD.

How can I track my order?

After your order has been dispatched from our warehouse, you will receive an email from us with a track & trace code from our shipping partner. Use this code on their website to track the location of your package.

When can I expect my refund?

We process your return within 7 days of receiving it. We then refund you within 7 days using the payment method you used. If you return the whole order, the shipping costs are refunded as well.

Can I cancel my order after it's been placed?

After you place your order, we start preparing your items. Therefore, it is unfortunately not possible to cancel an order once it has been placed.

Can I take my suitcase as hand luggage?

That is up to your airline, and it depends on your ticket. Our carry-on suitcases are the DS Front (55 × 36 × 24 cm), the DS ONE 20 inch (55 × 35 × 23 cm) and the DS Monarch 20 inch (55 × 38 × 22 cm, including wheels); the larger sizes of the DS ONE and DS Monarch are meant as checked luggage.

You will find an overview of the sizes per airline on our page hand luggage sizes per airline. The current rules are always on your airline's website, so check there before you travel.

Case materials

The DS Front has a polycarbonate shell with a zipperless aluminium frame. The DS ONE and DS Monarch are made of aluminium-magnesium.

How do I set the TSA lock on my suitcase?

The original number is 0-0-0. To set your personal combination, follow these steps:

  1. Set the dials to the original numbers 0-0-0.
  2. Press the reset button with a pen or paperclip until you hear a "Click" sound.
  3. Set your combination by turning the dials, for example to 8-8-8.
  4. Press the button that springs back when you hear the "Click" sound.
    You have now set your personal combination.
    Remember your personal combination well.
    Repeat the above steps to reset the numbers.

What should I do if my luggage was damaged by an airline?

Check your suitcase as soon as you take it off the baggage carousel. If you see damage that occurred during the flight, report it straight away to your airline's baggage service, before you leave the baggage hall, and ask for a damage report. Airlines set their own deadlines for damage claims, so do not wait.
